The faithful love of the Lord never ends. His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh every morning.” -Lamentations 3:22-23
To put it in simple language, the faithful love of the Lord never ends.
The great things about this truth is that it is not dependent on anything in our lives. When God chooses to reveal himself up in our lives, He will do so in a way that does not detract from any one of our major things. We are thankful for these things, but they do not make God love us any less.
God wants us to keep ourselves in His service. He has given us many things to do, but He does not want us to give Him anything in return. He wants us to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. He wants us to seek His service and to submit to His will as we live in unity with Him. This is what the faithful love of the Lord never ends means.
In prayer, we offer God thanks for His many blessings and mercy. We can offer Him great things when we meet each day in faith, are unselfish, and give Him thanks. Again, the most effective way to do this is through prayer.
When we experience the comfort of knowing that God lives in us, we are thankful that the power of God is within us.
Even when we encounter criticism of His glory or the way He makes us feel, we are being thankful to God because He can change things in us. God cannot make things better or worse for us; we make things better or worse for ourselves. If we wish to make the world a better place, we must change ourselves.
God wants us to be humble in all things. He wants us to not talk so much about the things that we cannot control. It is often enough to think about the things that we can control. Our children who are struggling in school should not worry about the things that they cannot control.
We should tell our children that God wants them to live their lives and to pursue their dreams. We should not worry about the things that we cannot control. We should focus on the things that we can. The great thing about this attitude is that it is based on God’s knowledge of what He wants from us. We are grateful that He wants us to do what He has decided.
When we pray, we are not worried about what God wants us to do. We are thankful that He wants us to do what He has decided. This is the faithful love of the Lord, that never ends.
