5-minute sacral clock
5-minute shoulder opener
10-minute quad stretch
15-minute half sun salutations with the metronome
35-minute meditation
I had intended to wake up early and do the 30-minute half sun salutations with the metronome.
It was possible since I woke up at 2 something, but I reasoned that it was too early. Then I woke up at 3 something and stayed in bed because apparently, I wasn’t serious about getting up early.
Anyways did the Half Sun Salutations with the metronome for my 15-minutes of yoga. And as I was sitting in meditation, feeling my body vibrating with warm healing energy (or maybe the yoga room is just extra hot). I began to fantasize about how amazing my practice would have been if I had gotten up at 2 something and did my usual morning routine plus the 30 minutes half sun salutations.
Of course, my sleep fears still linger. Basically, I am afraid that if I get up at 2, then I will be tired by??? and that’s the fear popping up because the truth is those last 2 hours of “sleeping” were at best a collection of mini naps and doing my practice earlier would have been better.
Perhaps tomorrow, I will have news of celebrating waking up early to extend my practice.
And on that note, it’s a big win for me now that waking up at 4 am is no longer an issue as it’s my new set-point during the week.
So there is that to celebrate.
And so it is.
